ANH Bear Lake is a small volunteer organization located in Montpelier Idaho. Our main purpose is to rescue  and rehome abused, neglected and homeless pets.  We work hard to ensure  these animals are socialized and healthy before placing them in a forever loving home.

Tim Newberry, owner of Butch Cassidys restaurant and saloon was a loyal supporter of ANH.  He was always coming up with new ways to help, yet never asked for, or took  any credit.  He loved animals and helping the shelter was his way of showing it.   He and the Butch Cassidy gang have been so good to us.  Tim passed away last week and left and empty place in the heart of of each one of us..  Thanks Tim.  You were  a good man and you will be missed more than you would have ever known.
