animals need help

When Jed and Gypsy first came in, we wondered if they would make it through the night. Three months later, thanks to a lot  of love and good care, along with many prayers, they are  healthy, happy and ready to go to a new forever home.

Gypsy is about 4 years old.  She is such a silly girl and loves attention.  She has even started playing with toys.  She loves to have a buddy to play and she and Jed are still the best of friends.   When they first came in, they wouldn't leave each others side.  They had been through the worst times imaginable and they stayed together to save each other.   Gypsy is more independent now.  She doesn't always have to have Jed in her sight.  She isn't afraid to go explore alone and she's very  confident.  We tell her everyday how perfect and gorgeous she is and I think she knows it.  :)  Gypsy came in with a bad leg.  She couldn't put any weight on it at all and was in so much pain.   X rays showed that her knee had been broken years before and had never been treated.   Our vets thought she would either have to have knee surgery or maybe even have her leg amputated.   Not the case now.  She is running on all fours and using her bad leg.  We still give a small dose of pain medication but Gypsy is doing very well.

Gypsy is great with kids and other dogs. and just loves everyone she meets.
She will need a patient family. We don't think Gypsy  has even been in the house so some potty training work is needed.  Gypsy is spayed, up on all vaccinations and micro chipped.  Please call Lorrie 208 339 0130 or Dani 208 241 5538 or email for an application.
